Is 2010's Fashion Making A Comeback?

First of all y2k fashion is still trending, and that’s where the leopard print craze came from. In the early 2000s leopard print was everywhere. It was seen as trashy and certain celebs such as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton got abuse from critics for wearing the print, but when ‘cool girl-fashion icon’ Alexa Chung started wearing the print, the print quickly developed from trashy to timeless. But why is leopard print back in style today? Ever since the creation of the mob wife fashion trend, leopard print has been everywhere. The obsession with leopard print fur coats, dresses, silk cami’s, everything. But we are already seeing a decline in the print, showing us just how fast we can lose interest in micro trends.

There has been a lot of chat recently about the comeback of skinny jeans -how awful. Everyone has a different opinion on skinny jeans, me personally? I don’t like them. But is that just because I was going through puberty when they were in style and nothing suited me? Quite possibly. With skinny jeans, opinions are definitely 50/50. Some people love them and some despise. I also think the way you style your outfit with the jeans really adds to the fact if they’re nice or not. For example, the Alexa Chung skinny jeans & knee high boots duo can look absolutely stunning on girls, really highlighting their gorgeous figures. But I only think they go well if they are super skinny - skinny baggy jeans are just NOT it. Where has this skinny jeans craze came from? Well it was miss Olivia neill of course! Our favourite northern Irish influencer posted a tiktok recently of her rocking a pair of blue skinny jeans, black boots and a black tank top, and she looked absolutely stunning in them! So will there be a return of the skinny jeans? I definetly think we will start seeing a comeback soon, what do you guys think?

In recent years denim has been everything. We had a little break from denim when the whole cargos trend started, it really was rare to be seen in denim! But now the cargos trend is out and denim is back in! Denim skirts, denim jeans. Denim bags, denim dresses, denim everything. But where did this trend originate from? Well it was definetly a 2000s thing, Britney and Justin’s fully denim outfits had a massive impact on fashion and pop culture. From then everyone just started wearing denim and the trend never really went away.

As we already know, fashion trends can drastically change in days. But what happened to fluffy soap brows? When did they go out of trend? Some people still have soap brows but I have been seeing a comeback of the 2016 brows and I am not sure if I love it or not. I was not a makeup girly in 2016 so I don’t really see the 2016 brow hype. To me they are quite similar to chavvy brows, and I am a sucker for a clean girl no makeup-makeup look.
